Summary
HR Manager Oxford - On-site at John Radcliffe Hospital
We're looking for a HR Manager to support Mitie's operations at John Radcliffe Hospital, working closely with a workforce of approximately 600 colleagues, including contingent workers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in NHS HR policies and procedures—perhaps in an HR administrative or advisory role—who's looking to grow into a more strategic and hands-on position.
What You'll Be DoingYou'll be a key point of contact for HR matters on site, supporting line managers and ensuring alignment with NHS Trust policies. Your responsibilities will include:
-Building strong relationships with managers and Trust stakeholders
-Coaching and advising on employee relations and HR best practices
-Supporting performance management and absence processes
-Contributing to workforce planning and engagement initiatives
-Leading small-scale HR projects aligned with operational goals
✅ What We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone who's confident, approachable, and ready to grow. You'll ideally have:
-Experience working in NHS Trust HR environments (either directly or via a service provider)
-Familiarity with NHS HR policies and procedures
-CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards)
-Strong communication and time management skills
-A collaborative mindset and a calm, empathetic approach
