Summary

Role Overview - What is it?

This role will involve all aspects of responsive property as well as planned maintenance.

Main Duties - What needs to be done

  • Oversee void rooms and units to prepare for new occupier
  • Oversee maintenance of common part areas
  • Painting
  • Basic Plumbing
  • Basic carpentry including door hanging (Essential)
  • Lock changing (Essential)
  • Gardening including fencing
  • Bathrooms and kitchen repairs
  • Furniture / Rubbish removals
  • Cleaning (desirable)
  • Problem solving

Reactive property repairs are carried out at residential tenanted properties where some tenants are complex/vulnerable and therefore the candidate must be comfortable working with sometimes challenging clients.

Competencies - Who with and your skill level?

Skills

Essential:

  • Basic carpentry including door hanging
  • Lock changing

Desirable:

  • Cleaning

Knowledge

Essential:

  • Basic knowledge of electrics
  • Previous experience as a maintenance operative in multisite

Desirable:

  • Basic knowledge of gas boilers & electric heating systems
