Unqualified Maths Teacher – Key Responsibilities
• Support in planning and delivering engaging, challenging Maths lessons
• Help students develop their understanding of mathematical concepts
• Lead small group activities and 1:1 interventions to raise attainment
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and focused learning environment
• Take part in CPD sessions, staff meetings, and departmental training
• Contribute to wider school initiatives and extracurricular opportunities
Who We’re Looking For
• A minimum 2:1 degree in Maths or a closely related subject
• A genuine passion for education and student success
• Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) – desirable
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• A proactive, professional, and resilient approach to challenges
• Clear ambition to pursue a career in teaching
