Summary

We are a specialist procurement agent that manages the entire procurement lifecycle for complex capital equipment projects. We operate in the Supply Chain, Logistics, and Procurement sector, providing value through expert service, project consolidation, and absolute reliability. Our target clients include UK public sector, multilateral development banks, diplomatic institutions, missionary organisations and private sector companies with large-scale industrial projects in Africa.

Role

We are currently seeking a Director of Procurement to join our executive team at our London office. This is the most senior executive role responsible for designing and executing the company's entire global procurement strategy.

You will be responsible for ensuring the cost-effective, reliable, and fully compliant sourcing of goods and services for our clients' complex projects. This role offers the opportunity to build and lead a world-class procurement function, working closely with internal stakeholders like the Director of Sales and Business Development, and representing MNSR GLB LTD at the highest level with global suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies.

Who you’ll deal with:

Internal: Managing Director, Director of Sales and Business Development.

External: Auditors, Regulatory Bodies, Clients, Global Suppliers, UK Public Sector Procurement Officers, and representatives of Multi-lateral Agencies.



What’s the purpose of role:

To design and execute a world-class global procurement strategy, ensuring absolute reliability, cost-effectiveness, and unwavering compliance across all client projects.

What you’ll be doing:

Setting, directing, and taking ownership of all company purchasing policies.

Leading high-stakes negotiations for complex capital equipment contracts with a global supplier base.

Providing strategic oversight to ensure all procurement activities are fully compliant with UK public sector regulations and framework agreements.

Acting as the ultimate authority for ensuring that procurement for projects in Africa adheres to the stringent compliance and auditing standards of multi-lateral agencies.

Directing the research, vetting, and management of new and existing global suppliers to support client projects.

Arranging for rigorous quality checks of incoming goods and ensuring suppliers deliver on time and to specification.

Representing MNSR GLB LTD at the highest level with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

What you’ll possess for this role covering Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

Essential

Executive-level experience and a proven track record of leading procurement within UK public sector frameworks.

Extensive, verifiable experience in directing procurement for large-scale industrial projects in African markets.

Expert, board-level knowledge of the procurement compliance, anti-corruption, and auditing requirements of multi-lateral agencies (World Bank, UN, etc.).

A degree-level qualification is required.

Chartered status in procurement and supply (e.g., FCIPS - Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is essential for this directorial role.

An articulate, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Strategic leadership, global contract negotiation, risk management, and corporate governance skills.

High integrity and openness combined with a commitment to good governance.

Desirable

Experience with procurement software systems.

Direct experience in the capital equipment or industrial projects sector.
