Summary
Responsibilities
People
• To act as a role model within the team.
• To bring fun to the workplace and work to ensure a happy, motivated and focused team.
Customer Experience
• To ensure customer satisfaction across the estate.
• To encourage and champion swift, efficient, knowledgeable service within all aspects of hospitality within Carlton Estate.
• To drive sales by engaging with managers to develop product knowledge.
• To engage with the wider estate team in the delivery of events.
Operations
• To follow compliance to the standard operating procedures.
• To ensure a safe working environment for fellow team members.
• To promote staff welfare and wellbeing across the departments.
Statutory
• To be responsible for legal compliances and operating standards in the department.
Objectives
1 Customer Experience
• Greeting customers and creating a welcoming environment.
• Preparing and serving beverages including cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Offering suggestions and advice based on customer preferences.
3 Operations
• Maintaining the bar area by keeping it clean, maintained and well stocked
• Ensuring adequate supplies of drinks, glassware ore other necessary items.
• Helping with cleaning and washing glasses and other related duties.
• Maintaining composure when working under pressure.
• Understanding different types of beverages and how to prepare them.
• Accurately processing payments by managing cash and or card payments.
• To work within the team and to undertake and assist in any reasonable request by supervisors and managers.
4 Compliance
• Adhering to food & beverage safety standards.
