Our client, a well-established leading manufacturing company are seeking an experienced administrator who will help supervise all warehouse procedures and documentation. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand. They will be responsible to liaise with local sales managers and logistic teams and be responsible for all stocks and will be the SPOC for logistical warehouse activities.

Job Responsibilities

Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards; operating in a manner that safeguards self and others.
Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the office and workspaces to support operational efficiency and a safe working environment.
Supervising daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth, timely, and efficient operations.
Maintaining accurate stock and inventory records through timely data entry in the computerized system.
Conducting regular stock audits and preparing detailed reports for management review.
Overseeing quality control processes, including packaging standards and inventory checks.
Following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for packaging and quality assurance.
Create a pick list for arranging stock and share with the warehouse team for dispatch.
Handling goods returns and coordinating effectively with Sales, Warehouse, and India Logistics teams.
Forecasting production requirements and communicating relevant data to the Sales and India Production teams.
Coordinating and liaising with warehouse staff and freight companies to ensure seamless logistical operations.
Managing the training centre and ensuring all infrastructure and resources are in place to meet training requirements.
Identifying opportunities for operational and process improvements; recommending strategies to enhance efficiency and deliver added value

Skills and Attributes

• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items
• An understanding of health and safety requirements
• Flexible approach to duties and tasks
• Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
• Prior warehousing experience is required.
• Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling would be an added advantage.
• DG Goods certification (potential; option for company to sponsor this certification)
