Are you a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker looking for a rewarding opportunity in Melton Mowbray? We are seeking skilled and reliable individuals to join our team in a supported living service, working with adults with autism and learning disabilities. Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time hours, we offer flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
Your Role:
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live independently, safely, and with dignity. You’ll be working in a person-centred environment where your contribution truly matters. Responsibilities include:
Providing daily support with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
Promoting independence, confidence, and well-being
Supporting individuals in accessing the community and engaging in activities
Following individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies
Assisting with medication administration and accurate record-keeping
Building trusting relationships through consistency, empathy, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to varying needs and routines
Strong communication and observational skills
A proactive, empathetic, and person-centred approach to care
Willingness to work varied shifts including sleep-ins and lone working
An Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service is ideal)
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
Eligibility to work in the UK (please note we do not offer sponsorship)
