Summary
This role is based in the UK and will be working on site in our UK based College.
In order to comply with our mandatory pre-employment checks, the successful candidate will be required to provide original identification documents in person to our UK based People Services Department.
**The department is distributed across all five of our sites, so there is the possibility of being based at the site that is most convenient for you. This can be discussed at the interview stage. **
This role is pro rata, so the salary you will be receiving is £15,873.64 per annum.

Any offers of appointment will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (formerly CRB), a certificate of good conduct if applicable, plus receipt of satisfactory references, Occupational Health clearance, an understanding of safeguarding and qualifications verification. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position as you will be working within 'Regulated Activity' within a specific place (i.e. the College).

BACKGROUND TO THE POST
The Data Operations Team are accountable for producing and maintaining timely and accurate student data throughout the college lifecycle.
They achieve this by:-
• Ensuring that registers are accurate.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant student and enrolment records.
• Managing enrolment alongside the Returns, Analysis and
• On-boarding students through the application process.
• Efficiently timetabling college resources.
• Providing advice and guidance on audit compliance, funding rules regulations and timeframes.
• Understanding organisational priorities and ensuring that data capture and accuracy supports them.
The post holder is directly responsible to the Data Operations Manager but will work closely with the Returns, Analysis and Process Team, the Timetabling Team and the Applications Team.
They will be highly collaborative, flexible, organised and diligent and will possess excellent communication skills. They will be focussed on maintaining a good working knowledge of the MIS environment and will work well under pressure.

Essential Attainments
✓The ability to demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills or to hold a GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
✓Experience working in an administrative role in a FE College or Training Provider, demonstrating an understanding of the systems and software.
✓The ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of IT, email and a range of software packages.
✓To demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
✓To have an understanding of the operation of a large multi-site FE College.
