Our client, a respected educational institution in East London, Greater London, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and other professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-to-one and small group support, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages student engagement and progress.

To excel in this role, you should have prior experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, preferably within an educational setting. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:
- Collaborate with the class teacher to develop and deliver differentiated lesson plans and activities that cater to the individual needs of students with SEN
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, ensuring they remain focused and engaged in their learning
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and parents
- Attend and contribute to meetings and reviews related to students' support plans and educational outcomes
- Assist with the supervision of students during breaks, lunchtimes, and on educational trips
- Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN
