An Outstanding primary school in the heart of Lambeth is searching for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism, ADHD, and additional learning needs from September. This full-time, term-time role is a brilliant opportunity for a graduate – especially those with a background in psychology – to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing and forward-thinking school setting.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 providing tailored support that helps children overcome barriers to learning. Interviews will take place in the final week of August, with a September start confirmed.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting children with autism, ADHD, and a range of learning needs
• Working 1:1 and in small groups across different year groups
• Supporting behaviour, communication, and emotional regulation
• Assisting teachers with planning inclusive activities and interventions
• Collaborating with SENCO and external specialists to deliver EHCP support
• Helping pupils feel confident, secure, and ready to learn each day

Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant for this Lambeth School:
• A graduate with a degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly autism and ADHD
• A calm, patient, and resilient personality
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
