Summary

We're looking for a Public Liaison Officer to join our Bridgwater Tidal Barrier team based on site in Bridgwater.



Location: Bridgwater, hybrid role with some working from home available

Hours: Permanent, Full time 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us





What will you be responsible for?

As a Public Liaison Officer, you'll be providing assistance to the Senior Public Liaison Officer to help raise the profile of the project and the client. Your role will be to assist in the preparation of communications and engagement content for stakeholder, the wider community surrounding the project and the project team.

Your day to day will include:

-Assisting in the preparation of project engagement and communications content for social media, newsletters and further external and internal communication

-Supporting the client with organising stakeholder/public events and the creation and supply of signage, event design and branding

-Working with team members to simplify technical and complex information, to write, copy and produce associated briefs that are tailored to different audiences and channels across various platforms for internal and external communications

-Maintaining records of all consultation, including actions taken as a result of communications received from the public or stakeholders during construction

-Have relevant experience in a similar role, such as communications, stakeholder liaison, marketing, business development

-Have experience collating information and developing newsletters, social media content, articles and other internal/external content

-Ability to form productive relationships with colleagues at all levels across the business
