Summary
Applicants should be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of obtaining CCT at the point of interview. Candidates should be suitably qualified, including eligibility for Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status. This is an exciting, flexible role with scope for innovation and close liaison and networking across multiple networks whilst being well supported by the clinical teams and consultant colleagues. There will be multiple opportunities to positively contribute to development within access services to ensure excellent provision for younger people and their families. You will also join the Enhanced Psychiatric Liaison team that covers NSECH, a flagship emergency hospital that serves Northumberland and North Tyneside This role recognises the need for liaison services for young people that often present in crisis to the A and E department. You will join an experienced and established team consisting of a WAA and OA consultant psychiatrists as well as an MDT consisting of Nurse Consultant, Service Manager, Clinical Leads (working age adult & CYPS) and band 6 nursing staff.
