Summary
AK Teaching is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to work in a nurturing SEND setting located in Stannington, Northumberland. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners by helping them engage positively with their education.
You will be supporting Primary-aged pupils who may experience behavioural, social, or emotional difficulties that affect their learning. Working closely with teaching staff and SEN teams, your role will be to provide tailored support that encourages positive behaviour, builds resilience, and promotes emotional wellbeing.
This position is Monday to Friday during school hours, with no weekend work required. While the focus is on primary learners, AK Teaching also offers placements across other settings (EYFS, Secondary, and Post-16), giving you flexibility to grow and develop within the role.
