Summary
Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? A welcoming school in Cramlington is seeking Learning Support Assistants to join their team on a supply basis. You'll be working with secondary-aged learners who have a range of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, social anxiety, and some challenging behaviours.
Whether you come from an education, healthcare, youth work, or other background - we welcome applications from all walks of life, including those with higher education experience or personal exposure to SEND.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be supporting learners either 1:1 or in small groups. Your main focus will be to help pupils engage in their learning, manage emotions, and access the curriculum in a supportive and structured environment.
