Location: Bridgend, South Wales
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per year
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

At My Choice Healthcare, we’re looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our Bridgend Domiciliary Support Service.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same you’ll balance office-based duties with time out in the community, supporting staff and ensuring our clients receive the very best care in their own homes.
About the Role
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you’ll play a key part in the daily running of the service. From supporting care staff and managing rotas, to quality checks and building strong relationships with clients and families, you’ll help ensure we deliver care that’s safe, person-centred, and in line with CIW standards.
Flexibility is key you’ll need to cover some evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities to meet the needs of the service.
Key Responsibilities
✔️Support the Registered Manager with the overall operation of the service
✔️Assist with recruitment, induction, and training of staff
✔️Provide leadership, guidance, and occasional hands-on care where needed
✔️Carry out audits, spot checks, and supervisions to maintain care quality
✔️Oversee person-centred care planning and risk assessments
✔️Manage staff rotas and maintain effective communication across the team
✔️Liaise with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
✔️Ensure medication procedures are followed safely and accurately
✔️Contribute to management reports and service improvements
✔️Take part in the on-call rota as part of the leadership team
What We’re Looking For
✔️Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
✔️Level 4/5 QCF in Health & Social Care (essential)
✔️Experience in domiciliary care (essential)
✔️Knowledge of CIW regulations and standards
✔️Strong leadership and staff management skills
✔️Excellent communication, organisation, and IT ability
✔️Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
