Summary

In this role you will contribute to teaching, research, knowledge exchange, enterprise and business engagement in the Department of Engineering in the School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies, as well as contributing to the wider School and University.

The post requires knowledge of mechanical engineering and experience in teaching and assessing students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as apprenticeships. You must be able to demonstrate contemporary knowledge and skills in this subject area. Some ability to develop curriculum materials including work-based learning would be desirable.

Membership of relevant professional bodies would be desirable.

Please note that this role will be filled through a two-stage selection process:

Longlisting Stage:

Candidates who meet the initial criteria will be longlisted and invited to submit a short video presentation. Full details and guidance will be provided at that stage.

Shortlisting and Interview:

Following review of the video presentations, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a formal interview.

If you are shortlisted, your interview will take place via Microsoft Teams.

The interview will take place on 23 September 2025.
