Responsibilities
Manage and monitor SEND financial budgets and personal budget allocations.
Provide guidance and support to families on personal budget options and usage.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and financial regulations in budget management.
Prepare and present financial reports for stakeholders and management meetings.
Collaborate with schools, local authorities, and social care providers to streamline financial processes.
Conduct regular audits of personal budget expenditures to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies related to SEND budgets.
Requirements
Proven experience in financial management, preferably within a public sector or educational context.
Strong understanding of SEND legislation and personal budget processes.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to analyze financial data and present findings clearly.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build positive relationships.
Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
