Job Title: Teacher - Land & Building Surveying

Hours: 22.5 hours per week
About the Role
A Further Education provider in the East Midlands is seeking a skilled Teacher of Land & Building Surveying to join their Professional Construction department on a temporary basis. This role is critical to delivering high-quality training in surveying and setting-out for Level 3 and Level 4 students, including T Levels and Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs).
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and assess modules/units on Level 3 and Level 4 construction courses focused on land and building surveying, as well as setting-out
- Operate surveying equipment and software to support course delivery
- Provide high-quality, engaging lessons in line with awarding body standards
Requirements
- Degree or higher in Surveying, Construction & the Built Environment, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Level 4 or 5 qualification may be considered for candidates with significant industry experience in surveying
- Level 2 Maths and Level 2 English
- Practical experience using surveying equipment and software
