Summary
Carry out patient assessments, consent processes, and pre-vaccination health checks. Supervise and support HCAs and other team members. Respond to any clinical incidents or adverse reactions. Maintain accurate clinical records. For Healthcare Assistants: Support patients throughout the vaccination process, including reassurance and aftercare if required. Health and lifestyle advice. Blood pressure checks Help prepare vaccination areas and maintain cleanliness. Administering vaccines under national protocol in instances only where the registered nurse has completed the consenting process with the patient. Maintain confidentiality and support infection control protocols.
