Summary
The Emergency Department is the busiest area of the hospital, and we take great pride in our exceptional teamwork and commitment to delivering outstanding service across the department. As a Receptionist, youll be at the heart of this fast-paced environment, playing a key role in supporting both patients and staff. Youll be responsible for registering patients on arrival using the ED computer system and System One, generating ED cards and ensuring accurate booking onto the relevant systems. Once treatment has been completed, youll collect and prepare ED cards for scanning, maintaining the flow of essential documentation. This role also involves close liaison with medical and professional staff, as well as direct communication with patients and their relativesboth on arrival and following admission. Your ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate will be crucial in helping us provide the highest standard of care and support.
