Summary
Alloy Wheel Technician
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £31,332.60 Basic | OTE £44,582.90
Hours: 39-hour week
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 | Friday: 08:30 – 16:00 (30 mins lunch)

Alloy Wheel Technician Responsibilities:
As an Alloy Wheel Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out cosmetic repairs to alloy wheels, restoring them to a high standard. You’ll be working with a variety of finishes including standard silver, full colour change, diamond cut, and special effect wheels. Your goal will be to deliver consistent quality and customer satisfaction while working efficiently within a professional team.
Alloy Wheel Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out high-quality cosmetic repairs to alloy wheels on a range of vehicles
- Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timeframes
- Use specialist equipment and materials, including diamond cutting (if experienced)
- Maintain accurate records and uphold health and safety procedures
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the repair process
Alloy Wheel Technician Requirements
Previous experience as a SMART Repairer, Alloy Wheel Technician, or Bodyshop Painter is essential
- Experience with diamond cutting machines is advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A professional and reliable work ethic
