DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF SERVICES



Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm

Location: Cheltenham, GL51 0EX



Excellent benefits package including 2.5% Golden Hello payment on commencement of employment and up to £2,000 annual retention bonus subject to eligibility criteria (pro-rata for part time employees), subject to achieving and maintaining clearance requirements.



G4S Facilities Management is looking for a Deputy Director of Services to provide senior operational leadership for a Facilities Management contract in Cheltenham . You will work closely with the Director of Services to drive strategic goals, ensure financial success, and lead our team in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Oversee financial performance to achieve revenue, profit (EBITDA), and cash targets. You will review budgets, improve operational efficiency, and manage billing processes to ensure effective cash collection.

Operational Delivery: Support the Director of Services in executing business strategy and service improvement plans. You will work with the contract management team to build a culture of success, ensure high service standards, and report on performance against key KPIs.

People Management: Provide guidance and leadership to the contract team, ensuring all employees are engaged and adhere to our values. You will champion health and safety, manage corporate risks, and promote a culture of accountability and high performance.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication. You will work with operational leads to effectively deliver FM services and provide accurate management information.


Essential Skills & Experience:

Significant operational management experience in a similar-sized role, covering both hard and soft services.

Proven experience delivering complex services within PFI contracts.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and build confidence with customers.

Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Excellent communication, team-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
