Working disabled person looking for support workers, whom I will employ directly, to assist me in my day to day living.The role includes:- Assistance with domestic tasks- Some assistance with personal care- Enabling me to participate in everyday life and leisure activities outside of the houseThe job may suit a number of people including students (I’ve employed many very successfully, the job tends to suit), those with experience of support work (or not), those wishing to enter the field, supplement their income, and so on. Really, I am very open as to who I employ, as long as they demonstrate appropriate characteristics and a positive attitude to disabled people.A driving license is not necessary, nor is experience of support work and I do not require you to have formal qualifications in care work.Hours – Minimum of 14 hrs available and likely more:- I have a mixture of shifts available including Saturday and Sunday days.- Evenings and occasional sleepovers may be available e.g. if I go away for a weekendPay rates: - Waking rate is £14.90 ph- Night sleeps are £103.00 per night (hourly equivalent is well above minimum wage) You should be prepared to undergo a DBS check (enhanced disclosure), the outcome of which will determine your suitability for employment.If you are interested, please reply to this advert telling me a little bit about yourself, what makes you interested in the vacancy and contact details including email and a contact phone number.
