Summary

Job Description

You will manage a team within the Environmental Health service in Glasgow. You must have experience of managing or supervising staff, have excellent communication skills and an ability to plan work activities and make decisions in accordance with the needs of the Council.

A Degree in Environmental Health and a Diploma in Environmental Health or equivalent qualifications as accepted by The Royal Environmental Health Institute for Scotland are essential.

In addition we will be looking for a temporary Assistant Group Manager for maternity cover for a period of up to a year.

Interviews will be held on the 9th September 2025.
