More detail about the role The Deterioration & Resuscitation Team (DART) has vacancies for motivated, creative thinkers who can manage their own time, work well as part of a diverse team and feel passionate about all aspects of resuscitation. Are you an aspiring educator? Are you ready to take on the challenge of teaching life support courses to all trust staff, in both adult and paediatric specialties? Training will be given to enable you to deliver Resuscitation Council courses but some previous teaching experience is desirable. The clinical role is continually developing and involves the management of deteriorating patients in a ward environment with the focus again being on the education of ward nurses, healthcare assistants and junior doctors to improve their assessment skills and clinical decision making. Previous experience working clinically in an acute setting will be vital. The role also involves being part of the 2222 emergency team and responding to cardiac arrest, medical emergency and trauma calls. Our service is covered seven days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a Band 6 role within a small, friendly, forward thinking team who will support your development. We have a substantive position and also a secondment available so hours may be negotiable dependant on candidates. Working Pattern: 30 hours per week.
