Summary
The department is well equipped with state-of-the-art machines including 5 Siemens CT scanners, 6 GE MRI scanners, 4 Interventional Radiology suites (including a Philips Azurion 7 neuro biplane) and a Radiology Day Unit with 8 beds. A new PACS (McKesson Change) was installed on January 2019. The Epic eHospital system went live in October 2014. The Imaging Directorate is ISAS (QSI) accredited and the Trust is a Major Cancer Centre and a Major Trauma Centre. The Trust provides Neuroscience Services to the entire East Anglia region, and is gearing up to provide Thrombectomy to this region.
