Summary
Purpose of the role
End-to-end administration for our environmental education programmes and academy cohorts—scheduling, learner records, assessment coordination, quality assurance packs, LMS administration, stakeholder liaison and compliance (GDPR/safeguarding).
Key duties (non-exhaustive, operational):
• Programme scheduling & timetabling: build termly/half-termly calendars; rooming; trainer allocations; exam/assessment windows.
• Learner records & enrolment: manage onboarding, ID/eligibility checks, consents; maintain accurate records in our SIS/LMS; generate registers; issue certificates.
• LMS administration: create courses, enrol cohorts, upload content/assignments, manage forums and gradebook; run analytics and completion reports.
• Assessment & QA coordination: organise invigilation; maintain assessment trackers; assemble QA evidence (samples, standardisation notes, feedback loops); coordinate internal moderation.
• Stakeholder liaison: act as point of contact for schools/colleges/LAs/partners; publish schedules; manage queries and changes; collate attendance and impact metrics for reporting.
• Safeguarding & GDPR compliance: ensure documentation, incident logs, retention schedules and secure data handling; support audit readiness.
• Resources & logistics: learning materials, equipment bookings, venue confirmations, accessibility needs, risk assessments.
• Reporting: monthly KPI dashboards to Head of Education Ops; funding/contract reports (outputs, completions, evaluation summaries).
• Continuous improvement: collect learner/partner feedback; raise change requests; contribute to curriculum operations improvements.
This is an education operations post (not teaching). It maps cleanly to SOC 2329 – Educational administrators as per GOV.UK’s Skilled Worker eligible occupations. GOV.UK
3) Qualifications / experience required & how the named migrant meets them
Role requirements we set:
• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Education Administration/Education/Environmental Management (or related).
• 2–3+ years in education operations (timetabling, learner records, assessment coordination, QA/standardisation).
• LMS administration (e.g., Moodle/Canvas/Teams Assignments); advanced Excel.
• Working knowledge of GDPR, safeguarding processes, and audit evidence.
• Excellent written/spoken English; stakeholder communications.
