Summary
NSECH PLT is a 24-hour service that provides timely, consistent, and high-quality assessment, mental health interventions and recommendations/onward signposting for the management of patients. Presenting with acts of self-harm and/or co-morbid physical and mental health needs in general hospital settings. In partnership with acute trust colleagues and other professionals when indicated, to manage the interface with patient's physical health needs ensuring all patients admitted to the acute hospital trust are placed on the most appropriate pathway of care and achieve the best outcomes.
