I am an outgoing person and I enjoy chatting and meet people as well as getting out and about with friends/family. I like music and reading/audio books. At home I watch telly and like dramas, soaps. I also like comedy, enjoy a good laugh and try not to take life too seriously.

Looking for a trustworthy and kind assistant to help me with some daily living tasks that are now a struggle for me to do independently. This includes domestic tasks and cooking. No personal care is required.

A Personal Assistant that is happy to work along side me to promote my independence, have a chat and a laugh while doing it would be ideal.

Duties include:
- Other relevant duties as required
- Administration
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Transportation

Domestic tasks:
- Laundry – un/loading the washing machine/washing rack, ironing, putting away
- Changing bed linen
- Bed making
- General tidying, cleaning and housework, including cleaning, dusting and vacuuming.
- Taking out rubbish/recycling
- Minor household maintenance e.g. changing light bulbs
- Preparing drinks, snacks and meals.
- Shopping
- Correspondence assisting with household paperwork and shredding
- Making tea for the employer's guests

Social tasks:
- Accompanying employer to doctors/hospital appointments when required.
- The above duties may involve driving me in your car, lifting the folding wheelchair in/out of car, pushing the me in my wheelchair.
- Helping put away online groceries.
- Assisting wrapping parcels/presents
- Putting up and taking down Christmas decorations

Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional info:
Ideally a driver with a car would be ideal but not essential.
Free parking at address.
Near Purley Oaks Station.
Buses 407, 60 ,312, 466 then 10min walk
