Graduate Academic Mentor

Manchester Secondary School – Up to £550 per week – Full-Time

A thriving and inclusive secondary school in Manchester is seeking a Graduate Academic Mentor to deliver focused academic support to students across KS3 and KS4. Starting September 2025, this role is ideal for ambitious graduates looking to make a real difference in education.

The Role – Graduate Academic Mentor:

As a Graduate Academic Mentor, you will provide tailored support to pupils through 1:1 sessions, small group work, and in-class assistance. Your role will involve explaining challenging concepts, helping pupils prepare for exams, and boosting overall confidence in learning.

This Graduate Academic Mentor position is well suited to graduates with strong subject expertise who enjoy motivating others and helping them succeed academically.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate Academic Mentor:

• Degree (2:1 or higher) in a core academic subject
• Excellent communication and subject delivery skills
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting young learners
• Experience with tutoring, mentoring, or teaching desirable but not essential
• Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
