Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 10 hours per week to start (with potential for more)
About the role
Papworth Commercial Cleaning is looking for a reliable and proactive Facilities Assistant to join our friendly team at the Babraham Research Campus. This is an ideal role for someone who takes pride in keeping environments clean, safe, and running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
Clean and sanitise coffee machines
Collect and remove recycling from laboratories and offices
Handle and distribute deliveries (including food items)
Clean spills, kitchens, and high‑touch surfaces
Log milk temperatures and run taps for Health & Safety checks
General cleaning duties: bins, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
What we’re looking for
Reliable, punctual, and self‑motivated
Good attention to detail and hygiene standards
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous cleaning or facilities experience (desirable but not essential)
