Join ISS as an Assistant Facilities Manager supporting our East Anglian Courts contract. Based in Cambridge & Ipswich, this role plays a vital part in the successful day-to-day delivery of Hard and Soft FM services across a portfolio of secure, high-profile sites.
Job Description
You’ll support the Total Facilities Manager with operational delivery, contractor coordination, statutory compliance, helpdesk oversight, and team support- building strong relationships with both the client and internal service lines.
The successful candidate must be able to drive as you would manage sites in both Ipswich & Cambridge and spend time at both during the week.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily operations across cleaning, security, helpdesk, and M&E services
Manage and update the CAFM system (Maximo) to ensure SLA/KPI compliance
Coordinate Planned Preventative Maintenance and remedial works
Liaise with subcontractors and in-house teams to drive service delivery
Assist with payroll data, HR processes, training logs, and compliance documentation
Produce reports, support audits, and attend client meetings as needed
Deputise for the Contract Manager when required
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Experience in helpdesk/FM admin or operational delivery
Experience supporting both Hard and Soft FM services desirable
CAFM system experience (e.g., Maximo) a strong advantage
Strong organisational skills and IT proficiency (MS Office, especially Excel)
Confident communicator, able to build trust with clients and internal teams
Full UK driver’s licence – essential
