Summary
Join us as a Private Markets Fund Specialist
- This specialist role will see you contributing to the strategic growth of the Investment Products & Solutions (IP&S) platform by providing expertise in private markets, and supporting product innovation and client engagement
- You’ll manage the development, delivery, and oversight of private markets investment solutions and services across private equity, private credit and real assets
- This is a chance to develop your skills in an exciting and sought after business area
- You'll work from home some of the time, but you'll also spend at least two days a week working in 440, The Strand office
What you'll do
As a Private Markets Fund Specialist, you’ll support the design and implementation of private market investment solutions aligned with client needs and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with internal teams, you’ll help to bring new products to market and enhance existing offerings. You’ll also monitor industry news, market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity relevant to private markets and contribute to research and thought leadership to support strategic initiatives.
As a subject matter expert on private markets within the IP&S team, across the wider business and with clients, you’ll provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and portfolio analytics, and prepare high-quality materials for client meetings, internal committees and briefings.
You’ll also:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of private market funds and co-investment opportunities
- Carry out the due diligence and selection process for third-party managers and co-investments
- Contribute to portfolio construction, asset allocation, and performance monitoring
- Manage existing services for professional clients including client engagement and reporting, drawdown management, and third party relationship management
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of private markets including private equity, credit and real assets, as well as substantial experience working with both open ended evergreen and closed ended funds. Along with experience in investment analytics, product development, product and service management or portfolio management, you’ll hold a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. A CFA, CAIA, or relevant professional qualification would be beneficial.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Extensive experience in private markets, asset management, or investment consulting
