Summary
Procurement Officer
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Procurement Officer to support efficient, compliant, and value-for-money purchasing across the College. Reporting to the Senior Procurement Officer, you’ll manage tender processes, maintain contract records, and provide expert guidance to ensure procurement best practice.
You will:Lead and support end-to-end tendering for goods and servicesMaintain supplier and contract databasesProvide advice on compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and Financial RegulationsConduct market research and identify cost-saving opportunitiesWork with stakeholders to deliver high-quality procurement outcomes
You need to:Have strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skillsBe confident with MS Office and able to work under pressureBe willing to undertake CIPS training (study in own time)Ideally have public sector or educational procurement experienceJoin us and help shape how we source and manage the College’s contracts, all while developing your professional skills in a supportive environment.
