Summary
Nursery Manager – Level 3 Qualified | Up to £41,000
Our client is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead their beautiful nursery featuring age-specific rooms and inspiring outdoor space. This is a wonderful opportunity for an early years leader who holds a Level 3 childcare qualification, brings at least three years of nursery management experience, and is confident in navigating Ofsted inspections and EYFS compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 (minimum) Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years’ experience in nursery management or senior leadership in an early years setting
- Strong working knowledge of Ofsted requirements, EYFS framework, and inspection processes
- Proven leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to inclusive, safe, and high-quality early years provision
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the nursery across 44 hours per week (four-day working pattern)
- Ensure the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding in line with EYFS and Ofsted regulations
- Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections with confidence and professionalism
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, staff, and external partners
- Recruit, mentor, and support a skilled team, fostering professional development and positive teamwork
- Oversee staffing, room allocations, occupancy, budgets, and resource planning
- Maintain an engaging, clean, and well-resourced environment indoors and outdoors
