Good knowledge and experience of Stoma care and Stoma care patients or willing to undertake traaining. Good knowledge and understanding of colo-rectal cancer and treatments. Good knowledge and understanding of the emotional, psychological, social and financial impact of cancer diagnosis, treatments and recovery on an individual and their family. Undertake communication training specifically dealing with difficult situations. Good knowledge of cancer nursing terminology. Cancer care qualification/training/experience of working with bowel cancer patients Knowledge and understanding of cancer nursing services in Cwm Taf Morgannwg Knowledge of the patient cancer pathway. Experience of working in cancer services specifically colo-rectal cancer. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literate and experience in the use of database packages, presentations, data entry and retrieval. Able to communicate to a high standard both in writing and verbally. Ability to work unsupervised. Proven experience of, and ability to work well with, a range of cancer associated stakeholders including clinicians and managers. Experience of Multi-Disciplinary Team Working. Track record of influencing and engaging staff. Understanding of the importance of high quality information and associated confidentiality issues.
