What you'll need to succeed
- Lead credit risk assessments for project finance and asset-based transactions, including aviation, shipping, real estate, and related derivatives.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-argued credit papers for approval committees.
- Provides strategic guidance to front office teams on credit procedures, risk appetite, and mitigation frameworks.
- Monitor assigned portfolio of obligors and industry sub-sectors, escalating deteriorating credits and problem cases.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop solutions for distressed or complex credit situations.
- Attend Special Credit meetings and contribute to cross-functional problem-solving.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture across credit, origination, and portfolio management teams.

We are looking for a candidate with:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a major financial institution or ratings agency, with a focus on project finance risk analysis.
- Strong understanding of lending structures, risk factor identification, cash-flow analysis, and stress testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality credit documentation.
- Proven ability to manage transactions independently from inception to approval.
- Flexibility to meet tight deadlines and work outside standard hours when required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and teamwork.
