Summary

Electrical Estimator | Rochester, Kent | Full Time | £50,000–£60,000 per annum (DOE)

Based in Rochester since 1978, our client has delivered high-quality Industrial and Commercial electrical solutions across the UK. From illuminating city bridges and cathedrals to engineering multi-megawatt power systems, they take pride in tackling some of the industry's most complex and rewarding projects.

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator to join their growing team.

As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in producing accurate and competitive quotes across a variety of industrial, commercial and domestic projects. You'll be working closely with clients, suppliers, and our internal teams to ensure each project is assessed effectively and delivered to the highest standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional – and could also suit a qualified electrician looking to step into a management role.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Construction or Electrical Industry
• Qualified to 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation methods
• Commercially aware with understanding of project cost and risk
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Extreme Estimating/Total Estimating, MS Project, and AutoCAD LT desirable (training available)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Qualified electricians looking to move into management are welcome to apply

What will your role look like?

• Deliver detailed, competitive, and accurate quotations for electrical installations
• Meet strict tender deadlines and respond to bid requests promptly
• Liaise with suppliers and clients to source pricing and clarify project requirements
• Support project planning and risk assessment with commercial insight
