Job Opportunity: Join a Dynamic Team Supporting Cody in His Active Lifestyle!

Are you passionate about making a difference in someone’s life and looking for a role that’s as rewarding as it is varied? We’re seeking three enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team, providing 24/7 support for Cody in his own home and the community. You’ll be working in a rota system, ensuring Cody receives 2:1 support during the day. Some overnight shifts may be required to cover staff holidays.

About Cody:

Every day with Cody is an adventure! At 20 Cody is full of energy and loves to be outdoors, whether it’s camping under the stars, splashing in the pool, or dancing the night away at a concert or nightclub. He’s an active member of the Scouts and enjoys any activity that lets him explore and have fun. Cody’s zest for life is infectious, and he thrives on new experiences and the freedom to make choices about how he spends his time.

Cody has complex physical and learning needs, and his team plays a vital role in helping him live his best life. He requires support to manage various health conditions, both at home and occasionally in hospital. But don’t worry if you don’t have prior experience—what’s most important is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Comprehensive training, both in-house and through external providers, will be provided.

What We’re Offering:

We have multiple contracts available, totalling 60 hours a week, which can be divided into 12, 24, or 36-hour contracts to fit your availability and the needs of the rota. This role includes weekend shifts, public holidays, and coverage for annual leave and absences. Flexibility is key, as we work as a team to ensure Cody has the best possible support at all times. We have many years’ experience managing staff in our home, with our longest serving carer with us for 16 years.

Who We’re Looking For:

If you’re someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys live music, and has a passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you. This could be an ideal opportunity for students in health and social care fields, offering valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and engaging environment. Your role will be crucial in helping Cody develop his independence and enjoy a life filled with the activities he loves.
