We’re seeking a Team Leader with a strong background in motor recovery claims to guide and support a talented group of claims handlers. If you thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment and have a passion for developing people, this could be your next big move.
Your Role
As Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for driving performance, supporting team development, and ensuring claims are resolved efficiently and to the highest standard. You’ll be hands-on with escalated cases and work closely with senior stakeholders to meet recovery targets and maintain exceptional service levels.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team handling non-fault motor claims from First Notification to Final Settlement
Manage escalations, complex cases, and customer complaints
Coach, mentor, and train team members to reach their full potential
Monitor performance, analyse KPIs, and identify process improvements
Ensure FCA compliance, GDPR standards, and service excellence
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff engagement
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in technical motor recovery claims
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Solid understanding of FCA and FOS guidelines
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise under pressure
CII Certificate in Insurance (essential), Dip CII is a bonus
Confident with Microsoft Office and data reporting tools
