Summary
The Tools Storekeeper will be responsible to Engineering Management, to carry out the following tasks in accordance with Military Aviation Authority (MAA) Regulatory Policy:
Responsible for the daily operation of the Tool Store, including controlling the issue/return of all tools and equipment as well as their maintenance.
Providing oversight for equipment inventories and the maintenance of Main Operating Base and deployable hand tools, toolkits and tool tally boards held within the Sqn’s Tool Issue Centre.
Management of Test and Measuring Equipment including the assurance of regular mandated servicing schedules.
Engagement with third party contractors to facilitate the management and control of tools within their area of responsibility.
Accurate updating and maintaining of the electronic maintenance recording and forecasting system.
Apply and enforce all appropriate and necessary Health & Safety measures and MAA means of compliance.
The working pattern is based on a 37 hour week over 4 nights, Monday to Thursday .This is subject to amendment with business need.
