Summary
-To provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions for individuals and/or families/carers with service users who are presenting with highly complex and distressing psychological problems including psychosis, complex trauma, relational difficulties and offending behaviour. - To provide clinical leadership and contribute to the provision of a trauma-informed and least restrictive environment through supporting the staff team in their decision making and offering indirect support through team case and risk formulation, reflective practice and individual supervision. - To provide clinical supervision to Trainee Clinical Psychologists, Trainee/Qualified Clinical Associate Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists. - To ensure the clinical effectiveness of own practice and of service functioning by undertaking research and development activities relevant to a forensic mental health setting.
