We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Teachers to join our team at our school in Cranleigh, a leading provider of education for children with special educational needs (SEN) using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience in a supportive and rewarding environment.

About the Role

As a Trainee Teacher, you will work closely with experienced professionals, receiving mentorship and ongoing support as you develop your skills and knowledge. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and individualised lessons tailored to the specific needs of each student.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, teaching assistants, and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports on student progress.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

Essential Requirements

  • Commitment to working with children with SEN
  • Experience working with children with SEN (essential)
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to location)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with ABA
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in education
