Deputy Nursery Manager – Level 3 Early Years or Above | Up to £30,000

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher) – essential.
• Proven experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager or in a senior early years leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• A supportive, proactive, and child-focused approach

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire team members to deliver outstanding care and education.
• Plan and oversee engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted standards are consistently met.
• Assist with managing occupancy, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
• Contribute to staff training, appraisals, and ongoing professional development.
