Summary
Nursery Area Manager – Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance & Bonus
Role will be covering nurseries across the Cambridgeshire area, with regular travel between sites.
Our client, a well-established early years provider, is looking for an experienced Nursery Area Manager to oversee multiple nurseries across the Cambridgeshire area. This full-time role is ideal for a motivated leader with proven multi-site management experience who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care, education, and operational excellence. With a strong focus on quality, team development, and business performance, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact within a supportive organisation.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) – essential.
- Proven experience as an Area Manager or in a similar multi-site leadership role within early years.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to balance quality care with business targets.
- A positive, professional, and collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to Nursery Managers across the Cambridgeshire area.
- Ensure all settings maintain compliance with Ofsted and other regulatory standards.
- Monitor and drive both quality of care and operational performance across all sites.
- Lead recruitment, training, and staff development to build high-performing teams.
- Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels to meet business objectives.
- Implement and maintain consistent processes and best practice across all settings.
- Build strong relationships with staff, parents, and key stakeholders.
