We are currently seeking an HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Workshop based in the Newark-On-Trent area.
The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £45,000 with OTE of circa £45,000 with working hours of Monday to Friday, 40 hours. You’ll be allocated a rota, which covers a two-week period (Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm & Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm). Additionally, you’ll be asked to work alternate Saturdays, from 6:00am – 12:00am (this will be paid at an additional rate).
Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:
- Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation
- Applying the Health & Safety procedures in order to maintain a functional Workshop.
Requirements:
- Previous working experience within the role
- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent mechanical knowledge
- A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
- A valid UK Driving Licence.
- IRTEC Licence is highly desirable.
