Summary

We aim to empower our service users to lead active and positive lives, supporting their physical and mental wellbeing. To achieve this, we need responsible and compassionate individuals who can deliver respectful personal care and person-centred support.
Your role may include:
- Providing social and emotional support, either at home and/or in their local community
- Supporting our clients with their personal care including personal hygiene needs such as showering, bathing and toileting if required.
- Building/maintaining relationship with friends and family of our clients.
- Assisting with household tasks including cooking, cleaning, tidying. and laundry.
- Helping with mobility around the home.
- Overseeing medication and providing medical support
- Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
- Going out for walks, meals and other activities that supported individuals may want to experience.
Skills and attributes of our Care Support Workers:
- You need to be a very calm, caring individual with a positive outlook.
- Empathy, caring, reliable and sensitivity to the needs of others.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Car driver desirable but not essential
