Summary


Rotational Physiotherapist

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Site

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 physiotherapist to join our general rotations within the therapy department at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The rotations are six months in length and involve working in a wide variety of clinical areas. These include Respiratory, Paediatrics, Burns, HIV/Oncology, Orthopaedics, Medical Rehabilitation, ED and Acute Medicine and Neurology.

You will have prior experience working in a variety of acute, rehabilitation and outpatient settings and experience working as an autonomous practitioner. Previous experience in respiratory physiotherapy, including working in a critical care setting is essential. Applications without the essential criteria will not be considered for the post

They will be a role model for expert clinical care, and lead on specific projects / service developments and management functions as
delegated by the Band 7 therapist or Clinical Lead Therapist.

They will role model the identified Trust values at all times.

The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner in providing physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management to their own designated caseload of patients and to maintain up to date physiotherapy records.

They will evidence based principles and current best practise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate physiotherapy interventions.

The post holder will provide supervision, teaching and support to more junior staff, therapy assistants and students on placement.

The post holder is expected to actively participate in the 5 in 7 weekend rota and respiratory on-call rota
