At Bishop Auckland College, we are seeking to recruit two Casual Learning Support Assistants to join our inclusive and supportive team. These roles are vital in providing one-to-one and small group support for our high needs learners across a range of vocational and academic programmes.
The ideal candidate will be required to have a CACHE L3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent level 3 qualification in supporting in the classroom (or work towards within 1 year, Level 2 in Literacy (GCSE English grade C/4 or above) and experience of supporting young people with additional needs.

Grade: £15.10 per hour (inclusive of bank holiday and holiday entitlement)
Hours: variable hours per week, temporary position until July 2026

Closing date: Wednesday 20 August 2025 at 12 noon
This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
