We’re seeking a permanent Mobile Street Cleansing Operative to join our dedicated team serving a variety of urban and rural locations across the Richmond area.
This is your chance to be part of a hardworking crew that values commitment, teamwork, and community impact.
The Role
As part of our Waste and Street Scene team, you will be:
Driving a 3.5-ton vehicle
Litter picking and collection of litter and dog bins
Cleansing public toilets
Contributing to delivering a high standard of service to residents, with a strong focus on customer care
We can offer you a standard working pattern of 6.15 am to 4.15 pm over a 4-day working week, including weekends on a rota basis.
Optional overtime is available on a regular basis.

Have an enthusiastic and committed approach to street cleansing work
Be capable of working independently and using own initiative
Hold a strong understanding of the importance of customer care
Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and out-of-hours when needed
